WomenCertified® is the voice of female consumers and awards businesses based on consumer experience. The mission of WomenCertified® is to give women a collective voice, helping one another identify businesses who deserve their loyalty and referrals.
Those businesses and brands that meet a higher standard of customer experience among women are awarded the Women’s Choice Award. The Award is based on surveys (in our case, the HCAHPS), as well as research conducted in partnership with the Wharton School of Business on what drives the consumer experience for women vs. men. This research led to the development of the Female Sales and Service Satisfaction Index. Businesses that perform well are awarded the Women’s Choice Award.
WomenCertified® has recently announced the hospitals who have received the Women’s Choice Award for demonstrating extraordinary service in meeting the needs of women and their families. These are progressive hospitals that are going above and beyond to support and empower women in their community and globally. These are hospitals who are setting higher healthcare standards by appreciating the unique needs and preferences of female patients.
Women make or influence more than 90 percent of health care decisions for themselves and their families, according to a study published by the American Academy of Family Physicians. The Women’s Choice Award signals that a hospital meets high standards regarding a woman’s preferences, and the distinction allows women to make an informed decision about where to go for care for themselves or their family.
Mountain View Regional Hospital is very proud to have been the only Wyoming hospital to partner with WomenCertified® and be recognized as being among America’s 100 best hospitals for patient experience. It is not something to be taken lightly. The award is based on robust criteria that consider female patient satisfaction and what women say they want from a hospital including quality physician communications, responsiveness of nurses and support staff, cleanliness and trusted referrals from other women. It is a true honor to have been selected once again for the award and we have everyone who works here to thank for it. It is because of you that we have what it takes to be among America’s very best!
